12 WEEKS
Everyone says after 3 months i will be feeling better... i'm still not feeling any better though.
Still vomiting everyday, still have the headaches, still wake up craving for whatever i'd dreamt off the night before & ofcourse still wanting to sleep alot!
Nardy's parents along with many other adults have all told me to not sleep too much....
"you're baby will get very big"
"you will have a very hard birth"
"you will get very big"
etc etc etc
It's not that i want to sleep!! I just get very tired!! and i don't sleep all the time, i do go for my walks etc but i can't help having a big belly!!!
Yes my belly is feeling very big, and everyone is saying that it is too big for 3 months.
I hope the stretch marks don't come!!
Palmers and bio oil everyday should keep stretch marks away.... i think!
Anyways, to the big news....
12 weeks translucual ultrasound!!!
This is where they check for down syndrome, usually only for ladies over 35, however better safe than sorry i say.
On the way to the ultrasound, Nardy's van breaks down...why??? because he forgot to fuel up again!!! We still make it on time, as he drops me off and goes to find parking.
As soon as i arrived, i was taken into the room right away....
This was going to be the day i see my baby... and there it was... a beautiful baby with two arms, two feet waving around and a very strong heartbeat!!
I just couldn't stop smiling!!!
There really is a baby inside me! Although still very tiny but absolutly amazing!
It wasn't a round sac of cells anymore!!!
It hadn't disappeared !!!
All this excitement made me very teary but i try to hold on.... where was Nardy though??
As i finished off and walked out, he decided he would finally come in!!!
Yes, he missed out!!
I felt like i couldn't share how exciting it was to see our lil baby, or atleast make him feel as excited as i was, cause he wasn't there.
Showing him the still picture of the ultrasound, was just not the same!!
